The Skywalker drone is a highly versatile platform that can be used for mapping, surveillance, carrying a specialized payload, or even as a target drone.
In our latest version, V2.2, we have taken substantial feedback from customers to make this our best version yet. Version 2.2 now comes standard with RFD900X telemetry radios, giving you a range of up to 20km (12 miles), and a telemetry connection that is AES256 encrypted. The addition of a CREE LED on the drone makes the Skywalker Long Range Drone visible up to 4.8km (3 miles) away from the operator. Finally, the base transmitter has been upgraded to the Radiomaster TX16S which features a beautiful color display showcasing live telemetry data, and 16 channels to use.
Several new add-ons are now available for the Skywalker v2.2. PX4 is now available in addition to Ardupilot as the software installed on the drone. The popular Herelink ground station is also now available, an add on which includes the Herelink Ground Station and an action camera on the Skywalker, providing a live HD video feed. The Botlink 4G LTE control modem is available as an add on, allowing you to control the Skywalker over a 4G LTE network. Finally, our most requested add on, the Skywalker Launcher has now been added - no more hand launches needed!
As always, the Skywalker long range drone can be customized specifically to meet your needs. For the Skywalker v2.2 we now have standard configuration units now in stock ready to ship if no modifications are required.

With the Pixhawk flight controller system, the operator can program waypoints and flight plans into the drone before takeoff. The high quality Made In USA Pixhawk flight controller features manual flying modes, stabilize mode, and a (fail-safe function) return to home mode in addition to the autonomous mode.
The Skywalker Long Range Drone can be piloted with the included controller when flying manually or via a laptop or tablet utilizing the Mission Planner software when flying autonomously.
The Skywalker Long Range Drone uses a high-quality US/Swiss made Ublox NEO-M8N equipped with dual compasses, allowing for incredibly accurate positioning.
If you require even more precise positioning or plan to fly in areas were the standard GPS cannot lock onto satellites (such as inside buildings), please check out our Skywalker Long Range RTK option. The RTK option replaces the standard GPS module with a new one that delivers a precision of 2.0cm even without the base station.
The Skywalker Long Range Drone uses the Australian RFD900X telemetry module, giving you the potential to fly up to 20km (12 miles)
The RFD900X also features AES256 encryption, ensuring the link between your ground station and the Skywalker Long Range drone is secure at all times.
With a click of two buttons, the arms of the Skywalker Long Range Drone detach completely, allowing you to easily transport the drone between locations.

Draw route plans using a Google Maps interface and monitor crucial telemetry information in real time with Mission Planner software for PC or MAC. Live telemetry and flight data is displayed on the Mission Planner home screen, allowing you to control and monitor the Skywalker Long Range Drone and its systems as it flies.
In addition, you can configure APM settings for your airframe in the software, and download mission log files to analyze them. The Mission Planner software is open-source, and always being updated and improved by thousands of contributors around the world.
