ST16 Ground Station
The all-new designed ground station, the ST16 transmitter, features a larger 7-inch touch screen display and a range of new features. This integrated transmitter and receiver platform gives full control over the Yuneec Typhoon H so you can easily program autonomous flights as well as capture stunning HD video or photographic stills. Streaming 720 HD video to the larger 7-inch screen eliminates the need for an external device and displays useful in-flight telemetry data.
Take pictures and videos at the click of a button, start/stop motors, switch flight modes on your transmitter, adjust the speed control rate, status indicators, and more. An abundance of information is displayed and adjustable on the integrated touch screen for ease of use.
With Team Mode, you can bind one Ground Station to Typhoon H and another Ground Station to the CGO3+ camera simultaneously. Capturing truly creative content is vastly more practical with cooperation between pilot and camera. Collision Avoidance System
Powered by Intel’s Collision Avoidance Technology, the Intel CPU and the Intel RealSense R200 Camera with Intel Atom, collaborate every second to protect your Yuneec Typhoon H from possible collisions. This is the most noteworthy addition to Typhoon H’s capabilities, and the successful integration results in your drone responding in real-time to avoid environmental hazards.
RealSense integrates with Follow Me mode to avoid objects while filming in any direction. The Intel® RealSense™ R200 camera with Intel® Atom™ powered module builds a 3D model of the world, allowing you to focus on the subject without worrying about flying into obstacles.
Typhoon H with Intel® RealSense™ technology builds a 3D model of the world, while navigating through it. Using a 3D model of its environment enables the drone to make intelligent choices about creating routes around obstacles.
Additionally, RealSense is capable of remembering its environment, further enhancing the prevention of possible collisions. It is not reactionary – if it avoids an obstacle once, it will remember the location of the obstacle and automatically know to avoid it.
Typhoon H uses GPS - not just vision - to track targets. From a tiny tree branch to a large building, Typhoon H can still navigate around obstacles, regardless of size, and stay in contact with the subject, even if it becomes obscured.
YUNWZD WIZARD WAND
While the concept of pointing your hand-held remote controller( YUNWZD Wizard Wand) seems relatively simplistic, the execution is nothing short of spectacular. Truly designed for all skill levels, you point your wizard wand somewhere in the sky and at the command of a button click, the Yuneec Typhoon H will executive move to that location. You'd have to see it in action to see how valuable this novel feature is for the everyday pilot!
Functions like starting motors, changing flight modes, flying manually, Watch Me and Follow Me, Return Home and even the new revolutionary point-to-fly function is right in the palm of your hand.
Changing the angle of the Typhoon Wizard is equivalent to using the left or right joystick of a regular ST10 remote controller.
Point up (from 40° to 90°) and use the flight control arrows to take off and land or control your altitude.
Point front (from 0° to 40°) and use the flight control arrows to give directional instructions.
The Typhoon Wizard extends the Follow Me and Watch Me features from a 2-dimensional to a 3-dimensional flight path matching the changes in altitude. This allows the user to accomplish extreme close and accurate filming, even when climbing or skiing down a slope.

New Intelligent Flight Modes
Autonomous Flight Modes
Orbit Me Mode flies a circular path around the pilot and keeps the camera focused on you the entire time. Point Of Interest Mode selects a subject of the pilot's choice to execute and orbit the subject autonomously. Journey Mode will send the drone up and out, as far as 150 feet to capture the perfect aerial selfie. Curve Cable Cam will execute pre-set coordinates determined by the pilot autonomously, while the camera can be independently controlled by the pilot.
Follow Me Mode instructs the drone to always follow your movements while camera control can be independently controlled by the pilot. Watch Me Mode instructs the camera to remain focused on the pilot in addition to simultaneously following the pilot. Return To Home is simply switched on, and Typhoon G lands within 26 feet of the pilot.
5 Rotor Fail-Safe Safety
A great safety feature automatically enables your drone to remain in flight if a motor fails. In the event of a single motor failing, the Yuneec Q500 H will supply power to the operational motors to provide the required thrust and control needed to return safely to the ground.
Retractable Arms/Landing Gear
Stow-and-go functionality is demonstrated in the user-friendly design that allows the arms and landing gear to quickly be collapsed for easy transportation. After take-off, the landing gear retracts completely horizontally to give an unobstructed 360-degree viewpoint for the camera.
OPTIONAL: Typhoon H Backpack

The CG03+ 3-axis anti-vibration gimbal includes a built-in Gimbal that will provide steady and stable camera viewing that is not negatively affected by the pilot's twisting and turning. This is an innovative combination of a 3-axis gimbal, camera, and digital downlink. Control the tilt angle of the camera directly from the ST16 from the horizon to 90 degrees down.
CG03 Camera
The CG03+ camera features a 98-degree field of view, and a wide-angle distortion-free lens so you can see the world the way it is. Typically distortion lenses from other cameras provide an image that distorts a realistic image. Can be rotated through an unlimited 360-degree range of motion.

Smart Features

Follow Me Mode ensures your drone retains focus on the pilot holding the ST16 transmitter. Flying and capturing video by following the pilot is easy, flexible, and intuitive. Watch Me Mode keeps the 4k camera fixed on the pilot holding the ST16 in perfect focus and frame despite complex flight maneuvers.
Home Mode when enabled on your transmitter returns your drone to the position of the pilot holding the ST16 transmitter. Your drone will automatically land within 13 to 26 feet away from the pilot.
Geo-Fence Safety Features
A No-Fly Zone prevents flying near commercial airports designed by FAA as no-fly zones. The Smart Circle uses GPS implementation to create a Smart Circle consisting of a 26-foot diameter around the pilot, and a 300 feet barrier from the pilot's position. Legal Flying Height prevents flight 400 feet above the ground compliant with aviation regulations in place.
SteadyGrip Device
Included with the Yuneec Typhoon H is a SteadyGrip device, that ensures your ground footage is just as impressive as the aerial. A handheld device the SteadyGrip captures and allows you to use the App the CG03 to capture video, and photos and control the gimbal. With a mobile device, the holder connects your mobile device up to a 6.4-inch display, to see what the SteadyGrip device is capturing. Place the 3 Axis Gimbal and 4K Video Camera on your SteadyGrip and take HD video capability everywhere you go. A 4s 14.8v 5400mAh LiPo Battery provides excellent electric propulsion and gives you a superior flight time of 25 minutes. A sleek pop-in battery compartment allows for easy swapping of batteries. Purchase additional batteries and swap them out easily by returning your drone to the ground.
Easy Installation
Assembly is easy and the twist-on-design of the propellers is aided by a propeller tool to speed up installation. The ST16 Personal Ground Station is a remote transmitter with a built-in touch screen so there is no need to have and install a portable device.
