For existing Tarot T-18 customers, we will continue to support the T-18 with spare parts, and technical support for as long as needed. For new customers, the Tarot T-18 can still be purchased for the time being.

This Tarot T-18 V2.1 Ready To Fly Drone is an excellent drone for those looking to carry their largest, specialized payloads through the skies for industrial/scientific/research use. The Tarot T-18 V2.1 uses high-quality 3K carbon fiber plates and tubes, along with anodized aluminum CNC parts to ensure you have a drone as tough as the jobs you will need it for!
The V2.1 features carbon fiber 3D printed components, reducing weight and improving strength, new LED lights as standard, and a high-quality Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller and GPS manufactured in the United States. These high-quality components offer higher precision and reliability than ever before and take the Tarot T-18 to the next level. We can now offer vapor phase soldering upon request for the Pixhawk flight control board, giving you an even higher level of reliability for the most critical missions. The propellers are now folding ones by default which means no more taking them off after each use. New European motors, specifically designed for our Tarot T-18 are 30% lighter than previous ones, enhancing flight time, while also being more efficient. Along with these main upgrades, dozens of smaller usability and design improvements have been implemented. The Tarot T-18 V2.1 features an octocopter design that ensures stability and power, and unlike a 4 rotor design, ensures that any problems with a single rotor will not compromise the operation of the whole drone. The drone features a very large frame measuring 1250mm or 3.9 feet from motor to motor.
he Tarot T-18 V2.1 Ready To Fly Drone can carry around 17lbs (8kg) of payload with a range of 2 miles (3.2km), a flight time of up to 25 minutes. The Tarot T-18 V2.1 comes fully equipped with all required accessories and has been pretested to ensure it’s ready to fly out of the box.

With the Pixhawk flight controller system, the operator can program waypoints and flight plans into the drone before takeoff.
The high quality Made In USA Pixhawk flight controller features manual flying modes, stabilize mode, and a (fail-safe function) return to home mode in addition to the autonomous mode.The drone can be piloted with the included controller when flying manually or via a laptop or tablet utilizing the Mission Planner software when flying autonomously.
The Tarot T-18 V2.1 Ready To Fly Drone uses a high-quality US/Swiss made Ublox NEO-M8N equipped with dual compasses, allowing for incredibly accurate positioning.

The Tarot T-18 V2.1 Drone is powered by 8 highly efficient, lightweight brushless motors that feature carbon fiber folding propellers.
These high-quality brushless motors were designed in Europe by one of our partners specifically for the Tarot T-18.
The motors require low maintenance compared to other types of motors and offer superior power and efficiency for the size of the motor, allowing you to lift payloads with ease.
The Tarot T-18 V2.1 has been designed to carry the widest range of equipment, from camera/video to scientific / industrial / research equipment, and much more.
Below the base plate are 2 centered carbon fiber rods, and a plate designed to mount to, along with ample space for most payloads. Upon request, we can build customized mounts for your equipment, or provide CAD models for you to build your own.

The Tarot T-18 V2.1 features new folding propellers. With this design change, you no longer need to remove the propellers after each use. Simply turn the drone off, fold it up and put it away.
The folding propellers have an added bonus of looking much better, and now when the drone crashes or tips over the propellers will quickly shear, avoiding costly damage to the motor / ESC / electronics.

Draw route plans for the Tarot T-18 on screen using a Google Maps interface and monitor crucial telemetry information in real time with Mission Planner software for PC or MAC. Live telemetry and flight data is displayed on the Mission Planner home screen, allowing you to control and monitor the Tarot T-18 and its systems as it flies.
In addition, you can configure APM settings for your airframe in the software, and download mission log files to analyze them.

The Tarot T-18 comes with a 6-month warranty. During this time, any parts that prematurely fail as a result of manufacturing defects will be replaced free of charge.
The Tarot T-18 V2.1 uses the Pixhawk flight controller, which is a fully open-source flight control system running ArduPilot. This system is supported by developers all over the world, and can be modified to take your Tarot T-18 to the next level.
