Based on the successful Tarot 650 V1.0 - V2.0, we took feedback from our engineering team, along with customers across the country, and around the world, to make the Tarot 650 V2.1 our best Tarot 650 yet!
The Tarot 650 V2.1 features carbon fiber 3D printed components, reducing weight and improving strength, new LED lights as standard, and a high-quality Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller and GPS manufactured in the United States. These high-quality components offer higher precision and reliability than ever before and take the Tarot 650 to the next level. We can now offer vapor phase soldering upon request for the Pixhawk flight control board, giving you an even higher level of reliability for the most critical missions. Along with these main upgrades, dozens of smaller usability and design improvements have been implemented.
The Tarot 650 V2.1 itself is made from some of the top materials available on the market, 3K carbon fiber plates and tubes, aluminum CNC parts which are anodized, plus thick and lightweight carbon fiber plates at the base of each motor. In addition, the Tarot 650 V2.1 Drone features arms that fold in at the click of a button to ensure easy transportation.
The Tarot 650 V2.1 can carry around 3.3lbs (1.5kg) of payload with a range of 2 miles (3.2km), has a flight time of up to 25 minutes, comes fully equipped with all required accessories, and has been pretested so it’s ready to fly out of the box.

With the Pixhawk flight controller system, the operator can program waypoints and flight plans into the drone before takeoff. The Pixhawk flight controller features manual flying modes, stabilise mode, and a (fail-safe function) return to home mode in addition to the autonomous mode. The drone can be piloted with the included controller when flying manually or via a laptop or tablet utilising the Mission Planner software when flying autonomously.
The Tarot 650 V2.1 Ready To Fly Drone uses a high-quality US/Swiss made Ublox NEO-M8N equipped with dual compasses, allowing for incredibly accurate positioning. A highly accurate, USA made sonar module, gives extra precision and stability when flying under 23 feet (7 meters).
The Tarot 650 Drone is powered by 4 brushless motors that feature engineered carbon fiber propellers. The high-quality brushless motors require low maintenance compared to other types of motors and offer superior power and efficiency for the size of the motor, allowing you to lift payloads with ease.
The Tarot 650 V2.1 has been designed to carry the widest range of equipment, from camera/video to scientific/industrial/research equipment, and much more. Below the base plate are 2 carbon fiber rods for mounting to, along with ample space under the chassis. Upon request, we can build customized mounts for your equipment, or provide CAD models for you to build your own. With our relentless focus on high-quality, reliable components across the board on our platforms, you can be comfortable in the Tarot 650 platform to safely carry your trickiest payloads.
The Tarot 650 features a foldable design, allowing it to be folded with ease in a matter of seconds. The design allows the landing gear to be folded away, and the arms to be folded inward to considerably reduce the size for easy transport.
Draw route plans for the Tarot 650 on screen using a Google Maps interface and monitor crucial telemetry information in real time with Mission Planner software for PC or MAC. Live telemetry and flight data is displayed on the Mission Planner home screen, allowing you to control and monitor the Tarot 650 and its systems as it flies. In addition, you can configure APM settings for your airframe in the software, and download mission log files to analyze them. The only main parts that are manufactured in China are the carbon fiber frame, motors, and controller. Upon request, we also have alternative options available to replace those parts.
